I am concerned that I may be slipping into depression that may get worse if untreated. Prior to the birth of my child I never had a bout with depression, but as my body changed so did my hormones and my susceptibility to depression. I just stumbled across you while searching for overcoming disabilities. As a disability advocate, currently working as a day treatment provider in a residential setting, I applaud what you are doing in getting the word out. One of the most mentioned statements that I make each to do my people is that 'the most important person in your day is you'. As an aside, I have been blogging since 2011 at www.dismantlingdisabilities.com and creating empowerment worksheets to help individuals hone a variety of life skills in order to lead a more successful life.
Blessings on your journey, Ashley!
